About
My name is Deanna Musurlian, and I am the Superintendent of Marketing at the Deerfield Park District. In this role, I leverage my leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and strategic planning expertise to create and execute effective marketing strategies.
My design career began with a passion for digital fabrication, particularly laser cutting, discovered during my BFA studies at SAIC. This passion led me to start my career in library makerspaces and later to a role as a Digital Designer for morning news at ABC7, where I refined my skills in a fast-paced environment. It also took me to a fulfilling position as Director of Innovation Services, focusing on digital fabrication and its integration into library services. My journey has been driven by a commitment to creative problem-solving.
Outside of work, I am dedicated to fitness and lifelong learning. Fitness became central to my life during my early-morning shifts as a designer, and I continue to pursue personal growth through both physical challenges and creative exploration.
